French & Michigan is founded in the research of art and design. As a hybrid, French & Michigan works to foster collaboration between disciplines and redefine departmental practices through language and placemaking.
French & Michigan has two branches: F&M Projects, a nonprofit arts organization, and F&M Workshop, a design and fabrication practice.
Released in conjunction with the exhibition Lisa Qualls: A Collection of Silence, this catalogue features essays by Curator Céleste Wackenhut, guest writers Jacqueline Edwards and Darryl Ohlenbusch, and an interview with the artist. Released September 12, 2015.
